Baumshaquita Siegel is a 20-year-old Jewigga hoodrat wannabe gangsta from West Roger’s Park, Chicago. A former franchise owner, general manager, and “chicken bitch” at Harold’s Chicken Shack, Baum is currently trying to complete degrees in Business Administration and Music Production at Truman College. She lives across the street from a yeshiva in West Roger’s Park with her 90-somethin’ year-old grandma Edna. When she’s at home, she’s mostly eating ice cream and pound cake, drinkin’ Fanta, and trying to write raps. Unfortunately, she is a really bad rapper and usually needs a lot of help even creating a tiny bit of flow. She’s been in a sketch comedy show called “Aqua ‘n Baum is Broke As Hell” starring herself and Aquaniesha Fox, which received a lot of attention from people Baum likes. Baum has had a tumultuous relationship with Facebook. She gathered a very loyal following, but at the end of the day she felt like Facebook was just a waste of time. On December 28, 2011, Baumshaquita downloaded her Facebook data and deactivated her account. She thought she would do something brilliant and artsy with it, but then she went right ahead and reactivated the account on January 3, 2012. Baum deactivated her Facebook account again sometime in March 2012. The Facebook lifestyle became too overwhelming for poor Baum, and she decided to leave that black hole once and for all.
Baum resurfaced on April 24, 2012. Her new home? Twitter. On this less emotionally taxing social space, she tweets about her life as a soon-to-be graduate of Truman College, one of the Chicago city colleges. She is over the drama at Harold’s Chicken Shack and all the ladies, though she says she’ll continue following Harold’s on Twitter and retweeting any good chicken deals. Yet after feeling like she had offended a few friends on Twitter, Baum decided to shutdown her account. She is currently not on the Internet in any form, except for this blog post.
